DESCRIPTION
The Fico Japanese pendant light pairs a handcrafted washi paper shade with a black plug-in cord. Its warm, softly diffused glow brings a calm atmosphere to bedrooms, hallways, and dining nooks without requiring ceiling electrical wiring.
Made from mulberry bark paper over a steel wire frame, the translucent shade distributes light softly and evenly. The included bulb provides a warm amber glow at 2200–2700 K, reminiscent of light filtering through a shoji screen.
The 196.9 in black cord lets you position the pendant away from a ceiling power connection. An inline switch sits 31.5 in from the plug, while the wall outlet connection makes this a practical lighting choice for rental homes.
Subtle texture variations and small traces of glue along the edges reflect the shade's handcrafted construction. These characteristics are part of each piece and are not considered defects.
Choose from multiple dimensions for a single pendant, a pair, or a hallway arrangement. At a stated approximate weight of 2 kg, the pendant is easy to reposition.
Designed for dry indoor spaces only. Dust the washi paper gently with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid water, solvents, abrasive cleaners, prolonged sunlight, bathrooms, and kitchens exposed to steam.
